Lake Tahoe Blue takes care of Seattle Totems early, wins 7-2

Lake Tahoe Blue jumped out to a four-point advantage by the end of the first period and beat Seattle Totems, 7-2.

Julius Bauermeister had two goals to lead Lake Tahoe Blue to victory. Bauermeister's tallies came at 23 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 Lake Tahoe Blue and short handed 16:19 into the first to make the score 3-0 Lake Tahoe Blue.

Seattle Totems' power play was ineffective against Lake Tahoe Blue's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

Lake Tahoe Blue forced Seattle Totems' goalies to work in net, getting 42 shots and forcing 35 saves. Alek Lazarski made 13 stops and Anton Vigre made 22. Lake Tahoe Blue excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in six chances. Lake Tahoe Blue surpassed its usual scoring output this season. Lake Tahoe Blue has scored at the pace of 3.8 goals per game during the current campaign.

Lake Tahoe Blue additionally got points from David Raus, who also had one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Lake Tahoe Blue included Wesley Callens, Vladislav Polyashov, Sheamus Stoyle, and Hunter Lovdokken, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Lake Tahoe Blue were Charlie Hammerback, Aksel Friberg, Nickolas Bakey, Nicholas Sprake, and Nick Bretzger, who contributed one each and Alexander Lobachev and Kristers Seps, who each chipped in two.

Seattle Totems' offense rang up 34 shots on Lake Tahoe Blue's net.

Seattle Totems also had goals scored by Marek Nemec and Adam Alfoldy, who each put in one. In addition, Seattle Totems received assists from Nathan Carter, August Cnattingius, Axel Martensson, and Erik Danna, who contributed one each.

Bretzger rejected 32 shots on goal for Lake Tahoe Blue. Lake Tahoe Blue incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Seattle Totems ended with 19 minutes in penalty time with two minors and one major. Seattle Totems ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Tristen Ramaker was ejected from the game.
