Behind two goals from Hunter Lester and two goals Ondrej Valo, Idaho Junior Steelheads downed Southern Oregon Spartans 6-3.

Lester scored the first of his two goals at 7:58 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Idaho Junior Steelheads. Elliot Lorraine provided the assist. Lester's next tally made the score 6-2 Idaho Junior Steelheads with 3:48 left in the third period. Idaho Junior Steelheads had gotten the advantage when Southern Oregon Spartans' Billy Saxton was sent off for elbowing. Victor Carlsson assisted on the tally.
