Dallas Snipers opened up a four-goal lead after the first period and did not look back en route to an 8-3 win over Tulsa Jr. Oilers.

Dallas Snipers got the win with help from a great game by Peter Kutlak, who had two goals and two assists. Kutlak scored the first of his two goals at 1:49 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Dallas Snipers. Yevgeni Nikolaev provided the assist. Kutlak's next tally made the score 7-2 Dallas Snipers with 4:01 left in the second period. Mike Misantonis picked up the assist.

Dallas Snipers' penalty kill excelled, as Dallas Snipers gave up one goal despite allowing eight power plays.

Dallas Snipers forced Tulsa Jr. Oilers' goalies to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, finishing with 50 shots and forcing 42 saves. Richard Albrecht made 38 stops and Colter Pritchard made four. Dallas Snipers' goal total was higher than its season average. Dallas Snipers has scored at the pace of 4.1 goals per game during the current campaign. Dallas Snipers' penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as Dallas Snipers finished with 25 penalty minutes.

Dallas Snipers also got points from Misantonis, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Dusan Olsa, who also racked up one goal and three assists to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Dallas Snipers included Gary Burk, Erik Svensson, Trent Williams, and Artis Mucenieks, who each put in one. In addition, Dallas Snipers received assists from Carl Sandsten, who had two and Jean Cobo, Jason Moore, Alexander Yunanov, and Pavol Kotzman, who contributed one each.

Tulsa Jr. Oilers' offense rang up 36 shots on Dallas Snipers' net.

Tulsa Jr. Oilers was led by Ivan Bukshevannyy, who tallied one goal and one assist. Bukshevannyy scored 13:07 into the first period to make the score 4-1 Dallas Snipers. Maksim Chegrintcev provided the assist. Tulsa Jr. Oilers also had goals scored by Hunter Best and Andrew Wyrrick, who scored one goal each.

Renaud Gaboury made 33 saves for Dallas Snipers on 36 shots. Dallas Snipers registered one goal on three power play opportunities. Tulsa Jr. Oilers ended with 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors and two majors.
