Wood leads Southern Oregon Spartans over Butte Cobras, 5-2Butte Community Ice Thu, Oct 09, 2014 Story by Narrative Science.
Southern Oregon Spartans' Mackenzie Wood had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 5-2 win over Butte Cobras. Wood found the back of the net 5:49 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Southern Oregon Spartans and again while short handed 19:08 into the second to make the score 5-2 Southern Oregon Spartans.Southern Oregon Spartans forced its penalty killing units to work especially hard during the game, picking up nine minors and five majors for 83 minutes in penalty time.
