Salt Lake City Moose wins tough contest against Cheyenne Stampede, 6-4

Salt Lake City Moose gutted out a close 6-4 win against Cheyenne Stampede.

Salt Lake City Moose gained the winning advantage on a goal by Jurijs Moiseicenko 12:59 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer.

Jonathan Svensson had a great game for Salt Lake City Moose, netting two goals. Svensson's tallies came on the power play at 2:41 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Salt Lake City Moose and 4:13 into the third to make the score 4-4.

Salt Lake City Moose's penalty kill excelled, as Salt Lake City Moose gave up one goal despite allowing nine power plays.

Salt Lake City Moose racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with 11 minors and one major for 37 minutes in penalty time.
