Ogden Mustangs boosted by Pettersson's play in net, beats Colorado Eagles 5-1

Ogden Mustangs relied on the sparkling performance of Andreas Pettersson in net to grab a 5-1 win against Colorado Eagles.

Ogden Mustangs was led by Taylor Bowman, who had one goal. Bowman scored 1:08 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Ogden Mustangs.

Ogden Mustangs forced Colorado Eagles goalie Quinn Wold to work between the pipes, taking 51 shots.

Ogden Mustangs additionally got points from George Babos, who also registered one goal and one assist. Ogden Mustangs also had goals scored by Jon Mencer, Schuyler Seyfert, and Liam Charnock, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Ogden Mustangs were Andreas Zollner, Jakob Engvall, and Martin Hallin, who each chipped in one and David Clements and Craig Moore, who contributed two each.

Colorado Eagles was led by Levi Weber, who scored the team's only goal. Weber scored on the power play 9:12 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Colorado Eagles earned a power play opportunity when Mencer was put in the box for interference. Nick Davidson picked up the assist.

Andreas Pettersson made 27 saves for Ogden Mustangs on 28 shots. Ogden Mustangs incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Colorado Eagles' Wold stopped 46 shots out of the 51 that he faced. Colorado Eagles incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
