VIKTOR THIM had four goals to lead the Casper Coyotes Coyote to a 5-1 victory over Colorado Evolution. THIM's first goal came 11:23 into the first period. He then added goals at 14:36 into the third, at 17:56 into the third, and at 19:36 into the third.Casper Coyotes excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. The Coyote forced Colorado Evolution goalie Sergii Pysarenko to work between the pipes, taking 64 shots. Casper Coyotes surpassed its usual scoring output this season. The Coyote average 2.9 goals per game. Casper Coyotes also got points from ERIK STENBACKA, who also racked up one goal and one assist. In addition, Casper Coyotes received assists from EETU TIKKANEN, MACK STEVENS, BRADY GRIFFIN, LUKE ERICKSON, and PAXTON ZIELINSKI, who each chipped in one and KASPER ELO and WYATT STOTTS, who contributed two each. Colorado Evolution found itself stymied offensively, and got off a mere 14 shots against Casper Coyotes' defense. Colorado Evolution was forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as it racked up 24 penalty minutes. Colorado Evolution was led by Jon Dewerd, who scored the team's only goal. Dewerd scored 17:55 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Casper Coyotes. Ian Baker picked up the assist. The Coyote's RIKARD LANDFELDT stopped 13 shots out of the 14 that he faced. Casper Coyotes incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Pysarenko rejected 59 shots on goal for Colorado Evolution.
