Las Vegas Storm outlasts San Diego Gulls, 3-2

The game between Las Vegas Storm and San Diego Gulls was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Las Vegas Storm emerged with a 3-2 win.

Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Quinn Travis's goal in the second period proved to be the difference maker.

San Diego Gulls' power play was ineffective against Las Vegas Storm's penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.

Las Vegas Storm was led by Travis, who finished with one goal. Travis scored 8:13 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Las Vegas Storm. Moritz Matzka assisted on the tally.

Las Vegas Storm forced San Diego Gulls goalie Hunter Jackson to work between the pipes, taking 41 shots.

Las Vegas Storm also got points from Arrigo Burgener, who also grabbed one goal and two assists to lead the team in points and Vincent Dekumbis, who also registered one goal and one assist. In addition, Las Vegas Storm received assists from Alkhas Kochkarev, who had one.

Las Vegas Storm was unable to stop San Diego Gulls from sending pucks towards the net, and San Diego Gulls eventually piled up 31 shots on goal.

San Diego Gulls was helped by Nurbek Baltayev, who had one goal. Baltayev scored 3:26 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Las Vegas Storm. Niklavis Balgalvis picked up the assist. Cameron Todd also scored for San Diego Gulls. More assists for San Diego Gulls came via Bobby Campbell, who had one and Sebastian Gruhler, who had two.

Gernot Wegerer recorded 29 saves for Las Vegas Storm. Las Vegas Storm incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. Hunter Jackson made 38 saves for San Diego Gulls on 41 shots. San Diego Gulls incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with three minors.
