Colorado RoughRiders wins tough contest against Casper Coyotes, 4-2

Colorado RoughRiders gutted out a close 4-2 win against the Casper Coyotes Coyote.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Thayne Trumbull secured the win for Colorado RoughRiders with a goal in the third period.

Trumbull had a great game for Colorado RoughRiders, netting two goals.

Casper Coyotes was unable to stop Colorado RoughRiders from sending pucks towards the net, and Colorado RoughRiders eventually piled up 34 shots on goal.

Colorado RoughRiders also got points from Sage Dugas, who also registered one goal and one assist. Gian Cervo also scored for Colorado RoughRiders. More assists for Colorado RoughRiders came via Andrew Groustra, Hunter Behrens, and Blake Couture, who each chipped in one.

The Coyote's penalty box was a popular destination as the team totaled seven minors and one major for 49 minutes in penalty time. Casper Coyotes surpassed its season average of 33.0 penalty minutes per game.

The Coyote were helped by IGOR STIBYSH, who grabbed one goal. STIBYSH scored 7:05 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Colorado RoughRiders. Casper Coyotes also got a goal from VIKTOR THIM as well. In addition, Casper Coyotes received assists from ERIK STENBACKA and LUKE ERICKSON, who contributed one each.

Colorado RoughRiders' Sean Cuscaden stopped 20 shots out of the 22 that he faced. Colorado RoughRiders incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. CHRISTOPH MUTSCHIN rejected 30 shots on goal for Casper Coyotes. The Coyote registered zero goals on two power play opportunities.
