The Napanee Raiders relied on the scoring touch of Keenan Murray, who netted two goals, to beat the Amherstview Jets, 5-2.

Napanee kept Amherstview's goalie busy throughout the game, and Graeme Gemmill-Peters made 34 saves on 39 shots. The Raiders were ineffective while on the power play, as they were held to one goal off of nine man advantages.

Napanee also got points from Brodie Butt, who also had one goal and two assists to lead the team in points and Zach Knapp-Hermer, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Troy Wylie also scored for Napanee. In addition, Napanee received assists from Mitch Pearce, Austin Boulard, and Josh Murphy, who contributed one each.

The Jets could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 36 minutes in penalties during the game.

Amherstview was helped by Ryan Hutchinson, who tallied one goal. Hutchinson scored on the power play 6:10 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Napanee. A slashing penalty on Michael Parr had put the Jets on the power play. Wyatt Crampton picked up the assist. Amherstview also got a goal from Cody Jodoin as well. More assists for Amherstview came via Cam Blakeley, Brody Taylor, and Cody Smith, who each chipped in one.

Cameron Parr rejected 22 shots on goal for Napanee. The Raiders incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Amherstview registered one goal on four power play opportunities. The Jets ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Josh Kurish was ejected from the game.
