The Amherstview Jets tried their best to erase a four-goal deficit, but the Campbellford Rebels would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 4-2.

Campbellford made the score 4-0 on a goal by Andrew Doxtator at 1:00 in the second period, and Amherstview got as close as 4-2 when Dawson Chard APM scored 12:23 into the third period.

The Rebels pulled out the victory even though they were hit with 26 penalty minutes.

Campbellford was led by Griffin Rupnow, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Rupnow scored 14:56 into the first period to make the score 3-0 Campbellford. Jacob Bennett provided the assist. Campbellford also had goals scored by Ethan McDougall and Karn Dart, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Campbellford were Colin Doyle, who had one and William Lameroux and Jeremiah Doherty, who contributed two each.

The Jets stifled the Rebels' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Amherstview was hit hard by penalties in the contest, and totaled nine minors and one major for 23 minutes in penalty time.

Joey Mayer also scored for Amherstview. In addition, Amherstview received assists from Ben Bianco, who had one.

Campbellford's Cole Mahoney stopped 26 shots out of the 28 that he faced. The Rebels registered zero goals on four power play opportunities. Team's Brad Jacklin and Grant Fry were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game. Ryan Kaszuba made 26 saves for the Jets on 30 shots. Amherstview registered one goal on six power play opportunities. The Jets ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Zach Masterson was ejected from the game.
