The Alvinston Flyers could not stop the Blenheim Blades' Derek Muzzatti, who tallied a hat trick in a 6-3 win. Muzzatti got on the scoresheet 5:42 into the second period. He then added goals at 1:18 into the third and at 1:23 into the third.Blenheim's penalty kill excelled, as the Blades gave up one goal despite allowing six power plays. Blenheim forced Flyers' netminders to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, taking 42 shots and forcing 36 saves. Brett Avery made 23 stops and Cam MacAlpine made 13. The Blades found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. Blenheim has scored at the pace of 3.2 goals per game during the current campaign. Blenheim additionally got points from Dylan Muzzatti, who also had one goal and four assists and Jordan Durston, who also registered one goal and one assist. Phillip Clarke also scored for Blenheim. More assists for Blenheim came via Doug Ross, Lucas Hickey, Bryan Boersma, Ben Pataki, and Blair Derynck, who contributed one each.
