Erik Angeli was superb between the pipes for the Walkerton Hawks, as he did not allow a goal in a 3-0 victory over the Kincardine Bulldogs.

Walkerton was sparked by Ryan Hamelin, who registered one goal. Hamelin scored 7:33 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Walkerton. Lauchlin Elder picked up the assist.

The Hawks' offense operated below their season average. Walkerton averages 5.1 goals per game. The Hawks' defensive play was more effective than usual against Kincardine. Walkerton averages 2.4 goals allowed per game.

Walkerton also had goals scored by Mitch Borden and Calvin Penney, who each put in one. More assists for Walkerton came via Jay Thomson, Brett Coulson, and Brendan Welsh, who contributed one each.

The Bulldogs' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Walkerton power plays. Kincardine could not produce up to its normal offensive output.
