Jaden Shrier recorded a shutout against the Mount Forest Patriots as the Wingham Ironmen picked up an 8-0 win. Justin Jacklin was all over the ice for Wingham, as he grabbed two goals in the win. Jacklin scored at 2:08 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Wingham and again while on the power play 10:12 into the third to make the score 8-0 Wingham. The Ironmen excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in eight chances. Wingham's defensive play was more effective than usual against Mount Forest.
