The Hanover Barons and the Kincardine Bulldogs skate to 3-3 (OT) tieWestern Jr. C Sat, Dec 06, 2014 Story by Narrative Science.
Denver Hill banged in two goals and Lukas Heathers also chipped in one point, but Hanover still tied Kincardine,. The Barons managed to stay out of the box better than usual, totaling one minor for 12 minutes in penalty time. Hanover finished below its season average of 19.0 penalty minutes per game. The Barons' offense rang up 42 shots on the Bulldogs' net. In addition, Hanover received assists from Tyson Soers, who had two and Justin D Graham, Cole Leslie, and Jarrett Kuntz, who contributed one each. Kincardine was helped by Jordan Bell, who grabbed one goal. Bell scored 8:47 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Kincardine. Brycin Morrison provided the assist. Kincardine also had goals scored by Chad Simpson and Jordan Van Haelemeesch, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Kincardine were Shawn Moore and Derrick Bernath, who each chipped in one. Gord Walmsley rejected 23 shots on goal for Hanover. The Barons registered two goals on eight power play opportunities. The Bulldogs' Luke Aulthouse stopped 39 shots out of the 42 that he faced. Kincardine incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
