Kincardine squeaks by Mount Forest, 4-3

The game between the Kincardine Bulldogs and the Mount Forest Patriots was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Kincardine emerged with a 4-3 win.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Alex Labrosse secured the win for the Bulldogs with a goal in the second period.

Kincardine was sparked by Labrosse, who finished with one goal and one assist. Labrosse scored 19:14 into the second period to make the score 4-3 Kincardine. Collin Whitfield provided the assist.

The Bulldogs kept Mount Forest's goalie busy throughout the game, and Cole Wardlaw made 40 saves on 44 shots.

Kincardine additionally got points from Patrick Wiejak, who also registered one goal and one assist and Brycin Morrison, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Riley Cook also scored for Kincardine. In addition, Kincardine received assists from Derrick Bernath and Sam Feagan, who contributed one each.

The Patriots were helped by Cody Wright, who tallied one goal. Wright scored 8:21 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Mount Forest. Mitch Betts assisted on the tally. Mount Forest also got points from Luke Richardson, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Mount Forest also got a goal from Trevor Hughson as well. More assists for Mount Forest came via Doug Costanzo and Josh Perdue, who each chipped in one.

Luke Aulthouse recorded 21 saves for Kincardine. The Bulldogs incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Mount Forest incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
