Kincardine downs Walkerton, 2-1

Luke Inglis had one point to lead the Kincardine Bulldogs to a 2-1 victory over the Walkerton Hawks.

Kincardine additionally got points from Gerrit Satosek, who also finished with one goal and one assist. In addition, Kincardine received assists from Sam Feagan, who had two.

Walkerton put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Kincardine to score on any of its four power plays. The Hawks were held below their usual level of production. Walkerton puts an average of 5.4 pucks into the net per game.

The Hawks were led by Brett Coulson, who scored the team's only goal. Coulson scored 17:21 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Ryan Hamelin picked up the assist.

Mitch Campbell made 19 saves for the Bulldogs on 20 shots. Kincardine incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. Erik Angeli recorded 25 saves for Walkerton. The Hawks incurred 26 minutes in penalty time with three minors. For Walkerton, Hamelin was ejected from the game.
