Kincardine erases deficit to stun Hanover, 4-3

The Kincardine Bulldogs climbed out of a two-goal hole to beat the Hanover Barons, 4-3.

Kincardine never led in the game until netting the game winner. The Bulldogs was down 3-1 after a goal by Hanover's Justin D Graham at 2:23 in the second period. Kincardine tied things up at 3-3 on a goal by Brycin Morrison at 14:50 in the third period. The Bulldogs got the game winner at 17:52 in the third period on a goal by Morrison.

Morrison had two goals to lead Kincardine to victory.

The Bulldogs excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Kincardine forced the Barons goalie Cody Van der Heide to work between the pipes, taking 36 shots.

Kincardine also got points from Dalton Hnatko, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Kincardine also got a goal from Brady Richards as well. More assists for Kincardine came via Jordan Bell, Mike Smailes, and Sam Feagan, who contributed one each and Shawn Moore and Matthew Mah, who each chipped in two.

The Bulldogs were unable to stop Hanover from sending pucks towards the net, and the Barons eventually piled up 36 shots on goal.

Tyson Soers also scored for Hanover. Other players who recorded assists for Hanover were Colton Culbert, Tanner Bastien, and Jarrett Kuntz, who contributed one each.

Mitch Campbell recorded 33 saves for Kincardine. The Bulldogs incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Cody Van der Heide made 32 saves for Hanover on 36 shots. The Barons incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
