The Tavistock Braves' Angus Rowland had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in his team's 7-1 win over the Delhi Travellers. Rowland scored short handed at 16:11 into the second period to make the score 4-1 Tavistock and again while 17:33 into the second to make the score 5-1 Tavistock.Tavistock pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 27 penalty minutes. The Braves excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in six chances. Tavistock's offense rang up 48 shots on Delhi's net. The Braves outdid their season average for goals scored. Tavistock has scored at the pace of 2.9 goals per game during the current campaign. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals. Tavistock also got points from Tristan Hohl, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Tavistock also had goals scored by Braedon Hancock, Liam Kelly, Derek Cowing, and Drew Wagler, who scored one goal each. In addition, Tavistock received assists from Matthew Lupton and Dylan Yantzi, who contributed two each and Shaun Pickering and Maverick Petrie, who each chipped in three. The Travellers could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 28 minutes in penalties during the game. Delhi was led by Kelsey Van Ymeren, who scored the team's only goal. Van Ymeren scored 5:43 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Delhi. Matt Lynaugh picked up the assist. Ben Larder made 22 saves for the Braves on 23 shots. Tavistock registered two goals on seven power play opportunities. The Braves ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Hancock was ejected from the game. Mike Harrison recorded 41 saves for the Travellers. For Delhi, Steve Barati was ejected from the game.
