Anthony Pullia finished with one point to lead the Ayr Centennials to a 4-1 victory over the Norwich Merchants. Ayr additionally got points from Alex Ritchie, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Jeff Howlett, who also had one goal and one assist, and Colin Schuringa, who also registered one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Ayr were Carver Ormiston, who had two and Connor MacLean and Andrew Richard, who each chipped in one. Norwich put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Ayr to score on any of its five power plays. The Merchants could not produce up to their normal offensive output. Norwich incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors. The Merchants ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Derek Slaght was ejected from the game.
