Clayton Chalmers netted a hat trick to lead the Paris Mounties over the Ayr Centennials, 6-4. Chalmers' first goal came 6:21 into the first period. He then added goals at 9:07 into the second and at 17:31 into the second.Paris' penalty kill excelled, as the Mounties gave up one goal despite allowing eight power plays. Paris outdid its season average for goals scored. This season, the Mounties average 3.7 goals per contest. Paris' penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as the Mounties finished with 40 penalty minutes. Paris additionally got points from Tye Calder, who also had two goals and one assist to lead the team in points. Paris also got a goal from Richard Brooks as well. In addition, Paris received assists from Mitchell Harvey, Brett Wilson, and Garrett Kirby, who contributed two each. Ayr's offense rang up 37 shots on Paris' net.
