Michael Roefs stood on his head and made 27 saves to lead the Woodstock Navy Vets to a 3-1 victory over the Wellesley Applejacks. Woodstock was led by Mackenzie Langford, who had one goal. Langford scored 8:38 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Woodstock. Jeremy Racicot provided the assist. The Navy Vets' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Wellesley power plays. Woodstock kept Wellesley's goalie busy throughout the game, and Tim Bester made 31 saves on 34 shots. Woodstock also had goals scored by Mike Gillespie and Dylan Wettlaufer, who scored one goal each. More assists for Woodstock came via Braden Hutchison and Dan Haig, who contributed one each. The Applejacks excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in seven chances. Wellesley was led by Blake Hetherington, who scored the team's only goal. Hetherington scored 4:35 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Wellesley. Reid Denstedt picked up the assist. The Navy Vets incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. The Applejacks incurred 24 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
