The Burford Bulldogs' Broidy Rondelet scored 56 seconds into overtime to beat the Tavistock Braves, 3-2 (OT). Burford got the win behind a great game by Rondelet, who had one goal and two assists. The Bulldogs' penalty kill excelled, as Burford gave up one goal despite allowing eight power plays. The Bulldogs were forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as they racked up 36 penalty minutes. Burford additionally got points from Kyle Walker, who also had one goal and one assist and Adam Harris, who also racked up one goal and one assist. In addition, Burford received assists from Connor Merritt and Chris Grand, who each chipped in one. Tavistock kept Burford's goalie busy throughout the game, and Michael Black made 45 saves on 47 shots. The Braves could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 34 minutes in penalties during the game. Tavistock was helped by Derek Cowing, who grabbed one goal. Cowing scored 16:29 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Jake Wiffen provided the assist. Tavistock also got a goal from Matthew Lupton as well. Other players who recorded assists for Tavistock were Braedon Hancock, who had one. The Bulldogs registered two goals on four power play opportunities. The Braves' Ben Larder stopped 13 shots out of the 16 that he faced.
