The Wellesley Applejacks had trouble finding ways to stop the New Hamburg Firebirds, which beat Applejacks, 5-1. New Hamburg was sparked by Quinten Haddock, who tallied one goal and one assist. Haddock scored 11:58 into the first period to make the score 2-0 New Hamburg. Chris Eckert picked up the assist.
