The Terriers stifled Huntsville's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Otters were unable to stop Orillia from sending pucks towards the net, and the Terriers eventually piled up 49 shots on goal.

Others who scored for Orillia included Jacob Beard and Mathew White, who scored one goal each. More assists for Orillia came via Ryan Tucci, Denny Benson, Jason Stone, and Brock Welsh, who contributed one each.

Huntsville's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Orillia power plays. The Otters' offense operated below their season average. Huntsville averages 4.1 goals per game. The Otters forced Orillia goalie Weiss to work between the pipes, taking 48 shots.

Huntsville was led by Josh Zantingh, who scored the team's only goal. Zantingh scored 15:40 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Orillia. Tyler Brown picked up the assist.
