Erin downs Midland, 5-2

Liam Adamson registered two points to lead the Erin Shamrocks to a 5-2 victory over the Midland Flyers.

Erin stifled Midland's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Flyers were unable to stop the Shamrocks from sending pucks towards the net, and Erin eventually piled up 40 shots on goal.

Erin also had goals scored by Adam Ferrer, Tyler Nieuwendyk, Adam Gibson, and Cameron DeFazio, who each put in one. More assists for Erin came via Chris Grenier and Brad Ranson, who each chipped in one and Mike Nicolucci and Darcy Hackett, who contributed two each.

Midland was led by Curtis Rawn, who racked up two goals. Rawn scored the first of his two goals at 33 seconds into the third period to make the score 5-1 Erin. Corey DeRose picked up the assist. Rawn's next tally made the score 5-2 Erin with 13:23 left in the third period. Ben Skuce provided the assist. Other players who recorded assists for Midland were Nick Heins and Evan Buehler, who each chipped in one.

Tom Denstedt recorded 24 saves for the Shamrocks. Erin incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors. The Flyers' Jake Norton stopped 35 shots out of the 40 that he faced. Midland incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors.
