Jordan Schwartz racked up two points to lead the Penetang Kings to a 4-1 victory over the Caledon Golden Hawks. Penetang stifled Caledon's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Golden Hawks were unable to stop the Kings from sending pucks towards the net, and Penetang eventually piled up 37 shots on goal. Penetang also got points from Craig Robinson, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Penetang also had goals scored by David Pearce and Michael Paul, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Penetang were Hayden Cole, Nate Archer, Kyle Burns, Matt Meher, Mackenzie Bumstead, and Jessey Moreau, who contributed one each. Caledon could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 38 minutes in penalties during the game. The Golden Hawks were led by Christian Bonaldi, who scored the team's only goal. Bonaldi scored short handed 7:28 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Caledon. Caledon was on a disadvantage when Ryan Wonfor went off the ice for interference. Daniel Cafagna assisted on the tally. Adam Redgate recorded 23 saves for the Kings. Penetang incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. James Cyfko rejected 33 shots on goal for the Golden Hawks. Caledon registered zero goals on five power play opportunities. The Golden Hawks ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Randy Chen was ejected from the game.
