David Chubb was all over the ice for Adelaide Adrenaline, as he tallied two goals in Adelaide Adrenaline's 6-2 win over CBR Brave.

Chubb scored at 6:32 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Adelaide Adrenaline and again while on the power play 9:07 into the first to make the score 2-0 Adelaide Adrenaline.

Adelaide Adrenaline surpassed its usual scoring output this season. Adelaide Adrenaline has scored at the pace of 3.4 goals per game during the current campaign. The 31 shots that Adelaide Adrenaline put on net surpassed Adelaide Adrenaline's average of 3.2 shots per game this season.

Adelaide Adrenaline additionally got points from Josef Rezek, who also grabbed one goal and two assists to lead the team in points and Wehebe Darge, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Adelaide Adrenaline also had goals scored by Remy McGuiness and Ben Gebert, who each put in one. In addition, Adelaide Adrenaline received assists from Niko Suoraniem, Greg Oddy, Darren Corstens, Joshua Harding, David Huxley, and Brett Liscomb, who each chipped in one.

CBR Brave's offense was clicking better than usual and put 20 shots on goal during the game, better than the 2.8 shots per game it averages.

CBR Brave was helped by Stephen Blunden, who finished with two goals. Blunden scored the first of his two goals at 5:02 into the third period to make the score 4-1 Adelaide Adrenaline. Cory Wilkie assisted on the tally. Blunden's next tally made the score 4-2 Adelaide Adrenaline with 11:09 left in the third period. Matt Lehoczky picked up the assist.

Mike Will recorded 18 saves for Adelaide Adrenaline. Adelaide Adrenaline incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. CBR Brave's starting goalie, Brad Hunt, made 14 saves and finished with the loss before he was taken out in favor of Stuart Woodall, who stopped 11 shots. CBR Brave incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
