The Dunnville Jr. Mudcats used a sparkling performance by Josh Rosettani to take down the Port Dover Sailors, as the netminder did not allow a goal in Dunnville's 5-0 shutout victory. Dan Arrowsmith was all over the ice for the Jr. Mudcats, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Arrowsmith scored the first of his two goals at 13:13 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Dunnville. Luke Rowe picked up the assist. Arrowsmith's next tally made the score 4-0 Dunnville with 18:31 left in the third period. Jeff May provided the assist. Dunnville forced Port Dover's goaltenders to work in net, launching 37 shots and forcing 32 saves. Matt Murphy made 12 stops and Mike Caluori made 20. The Jr. Mudcats stifled the Sailors' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Dunnville's defensive effort looked to be improved. The Jr. Mudcats average 2.9 goals allowed per game. Dunnville's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in three goals. Dunnville also got points from May, who also had one goal and two assists. Others who scored for Dunnville included Mark Topp and Matt Dolan, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Dunnville were Steven Czepek, who had two and Mack Steele and Travis Sheldrake, who contributed one each. Port Dover's offense operated below its season average. The Sailors put an average of 3.4 pucks into the net per game. Rosettani rejected 27 shots on goal for the Jr. Mudcats.
