Huge game by McConnell boosts Dundas over Port Dover, 5-1Port Dover Sun, Jan 04, 2015 Story by Narrative Science.
Cam McConnell had one goal and two assists to lead the Dundas Blues to a 5-1 victory over the Port Dover Sailors. McConnell scored 15:02 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Dundas. Justin Homer provided the assist. McConnell dished an assist on Liam Hurley's goal that made the score 1-0 Dundas at 9:38 into the first period. He added another helper on Zac Mihalis's goal that made the score 5-1 Dundas at 13:30 into the third period.Dundas was led by goalie Dan Davies, who finished with 26 saves while allowing one goal. Davies certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.64 entering the contest. The Blues pulled out the victory even though they were hit with 32 penalty minutes.
