The Dunnville Jr. Mudcats, which found themselves down a man often, weathered the Port Dover Sailors' power play opportunities and emerged with a 6-2 victory.

Dunnville excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in six chances. The Jr. Mudcats kept Port Dover's goalie busy throughout the game, and #$self.jersey made 47 saves on 53 shots.

Dunnville was helped by Chad Springer, who racked up one goal. Springer scored 13:39 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Dunnville. Dunnville also got points from #$self.jersey, who also had one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. The Sailors could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 36 minutes in penalties during the game.
