In a game where neither team could get a cushion, the Glanbrook Rangers escaped with a 3-2 victory over the Hagersville Hawks.

No lead was more than one goal during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Garnet Batrynchuk at 15:04 of the third period.

Glanbrook was paced by Batrynchuk, who had one goal and one assist.

The Rangers excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Hagersville was unable to stop Glanbrook from sending pucks towards the net, and the Rangers eventually piled up 35 shots on goal.

Glanbrook also got points from Curtis Edwards, who also registered one goal and one assist. Glanbrook also got a goal from Jacob Comley as well. Other players who recorded assists for Glanbrook were Josh Pace, who had one and Drew Jedrzejewicz, who had two.

The Hawks forced Glanbrook goalie Matthew Venturelli to work between the pipes, taking 41 shots.

Hagersville was helped by Jacob Solomon, who racked up one goal. Solomon scored 15:46 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Hagersville. Bailey Fletcher picked up the assist. Derek Friesen also scored for Hagersville. In addition, Hagersville received assists from Jacob Brown, who had one.

Venturelli recorded 39 saves for the Rangers. Glanbrook incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Horia Lucaciu made 32 saves for the Hawks on 35 shots. Hagersville incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
