The Glanbrook Rangers' Chris Haigh scored 3:14 into overtime to beat the Niagara Riverhawks, 4-3 (OT). Glanbrook came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Rangers trailed 2-0 after a goal by Niagara's Dylan Lazarus at 15:09 in the first period. Glanbrook knotted things up at 3-3 on a goal by Luke Brackett at 5:56 in the second period. Cole Anderson had a great game for the Rangers, netting two goals. Anderson scored at 1:38 into the second period to make the score 2-2 and again while 5:56 into the second to make the score 3-2 Glanbrook. Glanbrook's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on nine Niagara power plays. Glanbrook additionally got points from Haigh, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Drew Jedrzejewicz also scored for Glanbrook. In addition, Glanbrook received assists from Jeff May, who had two and Aaron Smith, Curtis Edwards, Josh Pace, Nathan Fiorino, and Cameron Frail, who contributed one each. The Riverhawks excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Niagara also got a goal from Dante Zawadzki as well. Other players who recorded assists for Niagara were Shawn Epp, Alex Cipriano, and Jakob Reeves, who each chipped in one. Matthew Venturelli recorded 23 saves for the Rangers. Glanbrook incurred 32 minutes in penalty time with six minors. The Rangers ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Jacob Comley was ejected from the game. Niagara's Scott Charanduk stopped 25 shots out of the 29 that he faced. The Riverhawks incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. For Niagara, Epp was ejected from the game.
