The Dundas Blues and the Port Dover Sailors were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Dundas made the most of its opportunities and won, 4-3. Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Luke Laurin secured the win for the Blues with a goal in the third period. Dundas was led by Laurin, who racked up one goal and one assist. Laurin scored 5:33 into the third period to make the score 4-3 Dundas. Zac Mihalis assisted on the tally. The Blues excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Dundas kept Port Dover's goalie busy throughout the game, and Mike Caluori made 50 saves on 54 shots. Dundas also got points from Matt Johnson, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Dundas included Cam McConnell and Cooper Richards, who each put in one. Port Dover also had goals scored by Tyson Myke and Eric Mueller, who scored one goal each. In addition, Port Dover received assists from Michael Almas, who had one. Dan Davies recorded 51 saves for Dundas. The Blues incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors. Port Dover incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. For the Sailors, Michael Boateng was ejected from the game.
