Omaha AAA 16U holds on for 2-1 win against Anaheim Jr. Ducks 16U

Anaheim Jr. Ducks 16U tried its best to erase a two-goal deficit, but Omaha AAA 16U would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 2-1.

A goal by Jaden Anderson put Omaha AAA 16U up 2-0 in the third period, but Anaheim Jr. Ducks 16U pulled to within one on Patrick Choi's tally 7:11 into the third period.

Omaha AAA 16U was sparked by Anderson, who registered one goal. Anderson scored on the power play 1:28 into the third period to make the score 2-0 Omaha AAA 16U. Omaha AAA 16U had gotten the advantage when Anaheim Jr. Ducks 16U's Alexander Frosh was sent off for roughing. Bryan Yoon picked up the assist.

Omaha AAA 16U did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. Omaha AAA 16U averages 5.0 goals per game. Omaha AAA 16U forced Anaheim Jr. Ducks 16U goalie Frosh to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots.
