The Dundas Blues used a sparkling performance by Dan Davies to take down the Glanbrook Rangers, as the netminder did not allow a goal in Dundas' 6-0 shutout victory. Mitch Moriarity was all over the ice for the Blues, as he registered two goals in the win. Moriarity scored short handed at 7:31 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Dundas and again while 16:39 into the third to make the score 5-0 Dundas. Dundas stifled Glanbrook's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Blues' defensive effort looked to be improved. Dundas allows 2.5 goals per game. The Blues kept the Rangers' goalie busy throughout the game, and Jay Payton made 32 saves on 38 shots. The defensemen of Dundas were also effective in Glanbrook's zone, and came away with three goals. The Blues found themselves short handed often, totaling 42 penalty minutes and allowing seven power plays. Dundas also got points from Thomas Dowling, who also had one goal and one assist and Zac Mihalis, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Dundas also had goals scored by Nick McMullen and Ryan Waterhouse, who scored one goal each. More assists for Dundas came via Kevin Jaczenko, who had two and Ray Thompson, Damon Cumming AP, Phoenix Schueler, Matt Johnson, and Cam McConnell, who each chipped in one. The Rangers could not produce up to their normal offensive output. Glanbrook puts an average of 4.0 pucks into the net per game. The Rangers forced Dundas goalie Davies to work between the pipes, taking 44 shots. Glanbrook's penalty kill managed to stymie the Blues' power play, giving up only one goal while playing with a man down. The Rangers could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 50 minutes in penalties during the game. Dan Davies made 44 saves for Dundas on 44 shots. Team's Aaron Smith and Noah Matteson were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game.
