The Grimsby Peach Kings' Matthew Jambrosich scored 33 seconds into overtime to beat the Glanbrook Rangers, 5-4 (OT). Grimsby got the win on the strength of a great game by Jambrosich, who had two goals and one assist. Jambrosich scored the first of his two goals at 5:55 into the second period to make the score 4-0 Grimsby. Garnet McComber provided the assist. Jambrosich's next tally made the score 5-4 Grimsby with 19:27 left in overtime. Brennan Smith picked up the assist. The Peach Kings forced Glanbrook goalie Jay Payton to work between the pipes, taking 37 shots. Grimsby could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 26 minutes in penalties during the game. Grimsby additionally got points from McComber, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Grimsby also had goals scored by Jeromy Hopkins and Eric Cerino, who scored one goal each. Parish scored on the power play 16:44 into the third period to make the score 4-4. The Rangers had taken the advantage when Grimsby's Jacques got sent off for tripping. Jacob Kelly provided the assist. Glanbrook also got points from Kelly, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Garnet Batrynchuk, who also had one goal and one assist.
