Brandon McLean had one goal and three assists to lead the Niagara Riverhawks to a 7-2 victory over the Simcoe Storm. McLean scored 53 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 Niagara. Alex Cipriano picked up the assist. McLean dished an assist on Kyle Robertson's goal that made the score 2-0 Niagara at 11:41 into the first period. He then added assists on Robertson's goal at 19:14 into the second and on Zack Mulvale's goal at 15:20 into the third.Simcoe was unable to stop Niagara from sending pucks towards the net, and the Riverhawks eventually piled up 48 shots on goal. Niagara's goal total was higher than its season average. The Riverhawks have scored at the pace of 3.8 goals per game during the current campaign. Niagara additionally got points from Robertson, who also grabbed two goals and two assists and Cipriano, who also tallied one goal and two assists. Others who scored for Niagara included Landon Wilson and Bobby LaPlante, who each put in one. In addition, Niagara received assists from Lucas Marcon, Joseph Costello, Franklin Franck, Peter Falivena, and Jakob Reeves, who each chipped in one. The Riverhawks incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Note Pursky recorded 41 saves for Simcoe. The Storm incurred 32 minutes in penalty time with six minors. For Simcoe, Ricky Johnston was ejected from the game.
