The Dunnville Jr. Mudcats were firing on all cylinders against the Port Dover Sailors, and when the final buzzer sounded Jr. Mudcats emerged with a 7-1 win. Josh Phibbs quarterbacked Dunnville's offense to perfection and bagged four assists in the Jr. Mudcats' win over Port Dover. Dunnville kept the Sailors' goalie busy throughout the game, and Horia Lucaciu made 32 saves on 39 shots. The Jr. Mudcats bested their season scoring average. Dunnville has scored at the pace of 4.3 goals per game during the current campaign. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals. Dunnville also got points from Steven Czepek, who also registered one goal and one assist, Jeff May, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, and Dan Arrowsmith, who also had one goal and one assist. Dunnville also had goals scored by Andy Metzler, who had two and Mack Steele and Luke Cordi, who scored one goal each. More assists for Dunnville came via Matt Dolan, who had two and Evan Huckalo and Chad Springer, who contributed one each. Josh Rosettani recorded 18 saves for the Jr. Mudcats. Dunnville incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors and had no power play opportunities. Port Dover ended with no penalties and went 0-for-2 on the power play.
