New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U outlasts St. Louis Selects 18U, 5-3

In a game where neither team could get a cushion, New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U escaped with a 5-3 victory over St. Louis Selects 18U.

Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Anthony Cusanelli's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U got the win behind a great game by Cusanelli, who had two goals and one assist. Cusanelli scored the first of his two goals at 11:24 into the third period to make the score 4-3 New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U. Richie McCartney assisted on the tally. Cusanelli's next tally made the score 5-3 New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U with 3:14 left in the third period. Tim Gelatt picked up the assist.

New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U's penalty kill excelled, as New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U gave up one goal despite allowing eight power plays.
