McCartney nets hat trick, leads New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U to 4-1 win over Arizona Bobcats 18U

Richie McCartney netted a hat trick to lead New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U over Arizona Bobcats 18U, 4-1.

McCartney notched his first tally 4:29 into the second period. He then added goals at 7:18 into the third and at 10:47 into the third.

New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances.

New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U also got points from Charlie Singerhouse, who also racked up one goal and two assists. More assists for New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U came via Matt Chinnici, who had one and Michael Gelatt, who had four.

Arizona Bobcats 18U managed to stay out of the box better than usual, tallying one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Arizona Bobcats 18U finished below its season average of 14.0 penalty minutes per game.
