HC Dallas 18U's Russell deadly on offense in 5-2 win against West Michigan Hounds 18U

HC Dallas 18U relied on the scoring touch of Gary Russell, who netted two goals, to beat West Michigan Hounds 18U, 5-2.

Russell's tallies came at 1:36 into the third period to make the score 3-1 HC Dallas 18U and 14:01 into the third to make the score 5-2 HC Dallas 18U.

HC Dallas 18U forced West Michigan Hounds 18U goalie Chance Kremer to work between the pipes, taking 45 shots.

HC Dallas 18U also got points from Jake Hagstrom, who also had one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Others who scored for HC Dallas 18U included Patric Fun and Michael Piehler, who each put in one. More assists for HC Dallas 18U came via Zachary Black, Blake Sibley, Ethan Chun, Aaron Siegrist, and Thomas Wheeler, who contributed one each.

West Michigan Hounds 18U was helped by Mason Graves, who racked up one goal. Graves scored 16:10 into the second period to make the score 2-1 HC Dallas 18U.
