Esmark Stars 18U stifles Omaha AAA 18U's comeback, gains 4-2 victory

Esmark Stars 18U came close to giving away a three-goal lead to Omaha AAA 18U, but did just enough to escape with a 4-2 victory.

Esmark Stars 18U led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when Esmark Stars 18U's Brian Dee scored on the power play at 14:22 in the first period to put Esmark Stars 18U up 3-0.

Esmark Stars 18U got the win behind a great game by Adam Alavi, who had two goals and one assist. Alavi scored the first of his two goals at 5:04 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Esmark Stars 18U. Carter Ekberg assisted on the tally. Alavi's next tally made the score 4-2 Esmark Stars 18U with 4:37 left in the third period. David Polinski picked up the assist.
