McCartney lifts New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U over Philadelphia Little Flyers 18U, 12-1

New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U relied on the scoring touch of Richie McCartney, who netted two goals, to beat Philadelphia Little Flyers 18U, 12-1.

McCartney scored at 7:10 into the first period to make the score 1-0 New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U and again while 15:17 into the first to make the score 2-0 New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U.

New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Philadelphia Little Flyers 18U power plays. New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U kept Philadelphia Little Flyers 18U's goalie busy throughout the game, and Gennaro Anzevino made 33 saves on 45 shots. New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. New Jersey Jr. Titans 18U has scored at the pace of 5.1 goals per game during the current campaign.
