Chicago Mission 18U uses big second period to beat Honeybaked 18U, 10-2

Chicago Mission 18U used a six-goal second period to put away Honeybaked 18U, 10-2.

Chicago Mission 18U got the win on the strength of a great game by Andy Guth, who had two goals and one assist. Guth scored the first of his two goals at 11:29 into the second period to make the score 3-0 Chicago Mission 18U. Matthew Barry provided the assist. Guth's next tally made the score 5-2 Chicago Mission 18U with 4:44 left in the second period. Jordan Ernst assisted on the tally.

Honeybaked 18U's eight penalties came back to haunt it, as Honeybaked 18U let up five goals while on the penalty kill.
