Lansing Capitals 16U holds on for 6-4 win against Madison Capitols 16U

Madison Capitols 16U tried to dig itself out of a five-goal hole, but Lansing Capitals 16U held on for a 6-4 victory.

Lansing Capitals 16U took a 6-1 lead during the third period, only to have Madison Capitols 16U storm back on a Tyler Lander goal 16:10 into the third period to pull to two goals down.

Lansing Capitals 16U got the win behind a great game by Joseph Ullstrom, who had two goals and one assist. Ullstrom scored the first of his two goals at 4:47 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Lansing Capitals 16U. Ullstrom's next tally made the score 3-0 Lansing Capitals 16U with 7:43 left in the second period. Sean Millane picked up the assist.
