Pursuit of Excellence 16U tried to dig itself out of a three-goal hole, but Arizona Bobcats 16U held on for a 4-2 victory. Arizona Bobcats 16U made the score 4-1 on a goal by Jake Garman at 5:26 in the third period, and Pursuit of Excellence 16U got as close as 4-2 when Aiden Buhler scored 12:01 into the third period. Landon Quinney had two goals to lead Arizona Bobcats 16U to victory. Quinney scored on the power play at 6:40 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Arizona Bobcats 16U and again while 3:31 into the third to make the score 2-1 Arizona Bobcats 16U. Arizona Bobcats 16U's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Pursuit of Excellence 16U power plays. Alex Sprague also scored for Arizona Bobcats 16U.
