San Jose Jr. Sharks 16U failed to take advantage of its power play opportunities and MNEPDL Gray 16U shook off a number of penalties to win, 3-0.

MNEPDL Gray 16U was sparked by Eric Worre, who registered one goal. Worre scored 36 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 MNEPDL Gray 16U. Kyler Yeo assisted on the tally.

MNEPDL Gray 16U stifled San Jose Jr. Sharks 16U's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

MNEPDL Gray 16U also had goals scored by Trevor Zins and Bram Scheerer, who scored one goal each. In addition, MNEPDL Gray 16U received assists from Luke Johnson, who had one and Conner Lee, who had two.

MNEPDL Gray 16U took out Reid Waszczenko after he had made nine saves and installed Ryan Bischel in goal, where he finished with six saves and the win. MNEPDL Gray 16U incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. Noel Zuccaro recorded 20 saves for San Jose Jr. Sharks 16U. San Jose Jr. Sharks 16U incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
