Riley lifts Esmark Stars 16U over HC Dallas 16U, 5-1

Behind a great game by Shane Riley, who had two goals, Esmark Stars 16U defeated HC Dallas 16U, 5-1.

Riley's tallies came at 46 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 Esmark Stars 16U and 4:24 into the third to make the score 3-1 Esmark Stars 16U.

Esmark Stars 16U managed to stay out of the box better than usual, racking up one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Esmark Stars 16U wound up below its season average of 22.0 penalty minutes per game. Esmark Stars 16U forced HC Dallas 16U goalie George McBey to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots.
