Pursuit of Excellence 16U relied on the scoring touch of Cassidy Bowes, who netted two goals, to beat New Jersey Jr. Titans 16U, 5-2.

Bowes scored at 4:34 into the second period to make the score 2-2 and again while 6:34 into the third to make the score 4-2 Pursuit of Excellence 16U.

Pursuit of Excellence 16U put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow New Jersey Jr. Titans 16U to score on any of its three power plays.

Pursuit of Excellence 16U additionally got points from Aiden Buhler, who also registered one goal and two assists to lead the team in points.
